Sending a copy of his latest book and expressing the hope that doing so will elicit a critical review, suggesting that [Theodor] Uhlig might be inclined to say something about it, saying that he got the Geschichte der Musik through a book dealer some eight days before and immediately gave it to the bookbinder, expressing the hope that Wagner will accept an article from him [on the Geschichte], asking if Brendel received his article on guest appearances in Frankfurt, adding that if Bruno Hinze would take a dozen copies of his Rosen und Dornen on commission he will have Jonghaus, the publisher, send them, etc.
